Trip Overview:
The Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek is one of Nepal’s most spectacular and less traveled trekking routes, encircling the massive Dhaulagiri massif (8,167m), the world’s seventh highest mountain. This challenging trek offers remote wilderness, dramatic landscapes, and breathtaking panoramic views of Himalayan giants including Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Nilgiri, Tukuche, and Machapuchare.
The trek follows a circular route starting from Beni or Tatopani, crossing multiple high passes such as the French Pass (5,360m) and Muzarung La Pass (5,220m). The trail passes through traditional Gurung and Thakali villages, dense forests, alpine meadows, and rugged terrain.
