Everest Base Camp & Kala Patthar Trek – 13 Days

This trek takes you deep into the stunning Khumbu region, where you’ll walk through Sherpa villages, forests, and across rivers, all with the mighty Himalayas as your backdrop. You’ll be trekking in the Sagarmatha National Park — a protected area rich with wildlife and natural beauty — all the way to the base of the world’s tallest mountain.

If you’re someone who loves mountains and nature, this 13-day journey is a perfect adventure. It’s not easy — it takes effort and mental strength — but the experience is incredibly rewarding. You’ll leave the modern world behind and walk through breathtaking landscapes, pushing your limits every step of the way.

Trip Highlights

  • Hike all the way to Everest Base Camp, right at the foot of Mount Everest
  • Enjoy panoramic views of snow-capped giants like Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and Makalu
  • Visit Sherpa villages and see their culture and way of life up close
  • Walk through the Sagarmatha National Park, home to diverse plants and animals
  • Cross exciting suspension bridges over roaring rivers and deep valleys
  • Trek over glacier paths and rocky terrain on the way to base camp
  • Take two important rest days in Namche Bazaar and Dingboche to adjust to the altitude
  • Watch the sunrise over Everest from Kala Patthar — one of the best viewpoints in the region
  • Discover old monasteries, peaceful trails, and ever-changing landscapes
  • Get a real break from technology — and maybe even drop a few kilos along the way!

What’s the Experience Like?

The journey begins and ends with flights to and from Lukla — a thrilling way to start your adventure. Along the trail, you’ll pass through forests of rhododendron, small mountain villages, and alpine valleys. You’ll see peaks like EverestCho OyuPumoriThamserku, and Kanchenjunga towering above.

There will be challenging sections — including walking on rocky moraines and steep paths — but you’ll always be supported by our experienced team. The acclimatization stops at Namche and Dingboche help your body adjust to the altitude, and they give you a chance to explore even more hidden corners of the Khumbu region.

Expect simple living, cozy tea houses, hearty meals, and unforgettable mountain views. Most importantly, expect to return home with a deep sense of accomplishment.
